I've found that moving stones/stuff out of the liver in liver flushes, is a good opportunity to follow right up with hitting them a bit harder with the dewormer/zapping. That could have been what happened here as well and it was better exposed to being hit.

I didn't look up HarmonicCharge's link further down until I had posted this, but that is what they looked like.

An interesting side note- the Old Amish dewormer is Barefoot's.
