Its a great idea, but I think the problem is this is the most embarrassing problem to have, so I think most are reticent on even saving this forum in their favorites, never mind opening up. Some people do come forward though, so that's good. I think the non-posters really want to help discover a pattern, but don't want to post. Over time, we can think of ways to involve them more to help us all progress. For instance, polls.

btw, I think if you developed the problem over a certain age, Dr Preti tells you not to bother testing for tmau and suggests its halitosis. I agree there is a very good chance it is just some sort of gut flora imbalance with you. I think in many cases it will just be some sort of flora imbalance, but it must be some unique syndrome with a cluster of factors, because most people with a gut imbalance don't smell. Maybe a vitamin deficiency or something is a factor. for those with a detox enzyme issue, I think it will be a combo of detox enzyme-gut flora, so I think theres a lot can be done there too. This is my guess.
