It's so sad we let ourselves be overrun by unknowledgeable people in large corporations selling silly products, instead of building and retaining good local knowledge.

Those are all definitely the big issues on my mind. It's getting harder and harder to socialize via the normal restaurant route, the more I learn. I hardly go to restaurants now...and with Genetically-Modified-Organisms and weird cloned meat creeping in, I'm going to have to draw the line and say "I'm not going out to restaurants anymore."
