I will say that there were a few times in my life, overseas, when I was glad to see and eat at a McDonald's. I remember one time, I'd been in China for several weeks and it was the only "western" place in town. Someone took us there and frankly I was happy to eat a filet o'fish and some fries... yes, I admit it. It was so weird, though, because I realized the irony - the paradox of gladly eating at a place I normally hate and avoid!
