Chris honey,
I don't have to defend myself in order to know who I am and what it is I stand for. I know what's right and what's wrong. I try to do what's right, although sometimes I make foolish mistakes. I am not perfect, and I never will be. I know I have a heart for people, and attempt to love them even when they are unkind to me.
Actually, I am quite passionate about many topics, but what you read here, currently, are my thoughts about one single topic because it keeps coming up. You take a completely opposite view from mine on the issue of family size, and that is perfectly fine with me. I don't think I have ever told anybody they were stupidheads for not having a big family. I don't feel that way. I do encourage folks to consider/entertain the thought/option.
I can see where you might think I have a one-track mind, but, honestly, Chris, if you knew me well, you wouldn't think so. A good number of people are worried about a fast-growing indigent population and ask how the cost/wear and tear of supporting them will be handled. I think those are fair questions to ask. It's the possible solutions to the questions that I object to at times. I just want people to really think about what they are saying- you know, consider more than one side or facet of an issue.
I have every right to be proud of my children. The children I have graduated so far matriculated on full-ride scholarships. They have gone on to pursue the careers of their choice and have promising futures. They are well-rounded individuals, and their spouses have thanked me for the way I trained them. I have every expectation that my younger children will also be successful, regardless of where they attend school. Since you asked, my children have been raised by the sweat and sacrifice of two hard-working parents, the way it's supposed to be done.
And Chris, yes, I do believe there are some extremely influential individuals and families who control world/global decision-making. There are plenty of historical documents to support my beliefs.
I hope I have answered your concerns with a gentle spirit. If you have any more, I'll be happy to talk to you again.
Blessings,
Donna
