I have been stressed for a while now - over the last 9 months I've had a job change(including going from P/T to F/T and having my 4yo change daycare), a major move, a very stressful situation with selling a house and numerous fights with my husband about it, and now searching for a new house. I was getting sick a lot right after the move, but that had calmed down over the last few months(until this, of course!). I try to eat a really healthy Diet and normally exercise 3-4 X/week, although just prior to this happening I had broken a toe, and hadn't kept up with that. On Monday I got a stomach bug and the pain from all the retching is horrendous, and I went off the anti-inflammatories since I couldn't keep anything down for 2 days. I had finally started to feel a bit better over the weekend too.
I am thinking of trying a massage this weekend - there's a therapist that works in conjunction w/ my chiro's office, so he should be familiar with the condition.
3 years - that is just awful! How did you deal? What has helped you, and what hasn't?
Thanks for being here - you're right, until you've had this, no one gets it. I actually found a site that says the pain usually subsides in a day or two!
