"The Air Guy", thanks for your input. I did check out the "Sharp Plasma Cluster and the Ecoquest versions and I did read as many reviews as I could find of each. The Ecoquest basically got the worse reviews, but I also looked at its operating manuals which were on line. The Ecoquest is definitely a more complicated machine with a more complex pattern of maintenance proceedures ie.. More moving parts-more things to go wrong. It does cover a larger area, but my immediate needs are for a large bedroom.

I believe "baseman" spoke well of the Ecoquest, but he was referring to the 3000 sq ft whole house model. I think that I will wait for more analysis from members of this forum and more individual research on my part. I definitely do not want a "black wall" side effect from my machine. I would prefer for the falling air particles simply drop where they are and not necessarily being attracted to some wall; the cleanup would be much easier.
