yes, it is the mirena, and yes, it does get better, just very slowly. i had the mirena removed 7 weeks ago today, and lately i've been very tired and run down. after i first had it out, i was sleeping better, now i'm sleeping crappy again. i get moody off and on, but NOTHING like when i had the iud in. i had terrible joint pain, and my knees still hurt, as a matter of fact, i have a follow up appointment today with my family doctor for blood work and x-rays i had 2 weeks ago.
from what i experienced, you'll have good days, followed by lousy days, just keep in mind that some day, the good ones will start to out number the bad ones. after a while, people stop coming back here to leave posts, so i have to believe it's because they feel better. does your husband know why you feel so bad? i would think he could be a little more concerned for your health than how often you're having sex. him being cross with you isn't going to make things any better...show him this forum, maybe he'll have a better understanding of why you feel the way you do. anyway, hope you start feeling better soon.
