You are wise to be leary about using this medication when you are pregnant. Go to your library and check out the book called Allergy and Asthma Cure by Dr. Fred Pescatore. If your library doesn't carry it, have them interlibrary loan it in from another library. He has a whole nutritional guideline that will help open your airways. The advice in his book really cleared my son's asthma up. We haven't used any asthma medication for over 4 years since following the program in this book. Also, get some oregano oil drops and drop about 5 drops in a pan of water, boil the water and breathe in the steam. This halps my son when he has a cold and his lungs get a little tight. After the baby is born, and when you are not breast feeding, try the oregano oil internally. Wonderful stuff. Do some searches about it on this site. Good luck to you and your baby.
