I personally am a big believer in applied kinesiology. I see two, and they both are good, but I am sure there are probably bad ones out there as well. In my mind, short of passing candida in your stool, muscle testing is the best way to diagnose it. Both my AK's have candida vials. Candida symptoms can be similar to other problems and just because someone has been on Antibiotics and shows symptoms doesn't mean it is candida. I definitely don't have candida but I suffer from bad brainfog and food allergies . I don't know whether "candida foods" would test bad if you have candida. I have muscle tested foods that cause allergies, a food that caused a liver reaction, and one that causes my dopamine levels to drop, but if you don't have an allergy to it and it doesn't cause an imbalance in an organ system then it might not show up. Smoking is very bad for you but if you muscle tested a cigarette it might not muscle test bad, unless you had a problem with one of the additives. I muscle tested a vial of paint because I am around paint fumes sometimes - it came up negative and then about a year later I started feeling negative effects from paint fumes and tested it again and it showed I had developed a major problem to it in the meantime. Drinking enough of the stuff will kill you but that won't necessarily show up on a test. I sympathize with you - I suffer from some bad food allergies but my problems remain regardless of what I eat. Last test I had showed very low insulin, which can cause brainfog and other problems.
