You cannot determine if your problems are due to candida until you remove your mercury fillings. The mercury from the fillings (and fish or supplements) goes into your gut and then it can affect the bacteria or yeast there by killing off the good ones and leaving the bad ones. When you chelate most of the mercury will end up in your gut so in theory it could affect candida.
I have not pursued the subject of candida since I have felt a slow but steady improvement in symptoms leading me to believe that the mercury was the cause and was being reduced over time. How do you tell if you have candida?
I think it takes about 1 to 3 years to reduce your body mercury. Your brain mercury can take longer.
