Wow, I really feel for you. I am sure that is so hard for your brother. I have gone through digestive issues as well, BE, gastritis, esophagitis, H. pylori.

First has he had an endoscopy to rule out H. pylori? seems that bug is found in common with a lot of digestive issues.

I don't have a list for you, but I will tell you that Chrohns disease and ulcers can be helped by fasting if it were possible and affordable to get your brother to understand the process would make it better.

These links were provided to me, they may help you find a doctor who can work with you specifically to prescribe a diet for your brother:

Todays Health professionals who advocate the use of fasting for the recovery & maintenance of good health include: (but does not exhaust) Dr Alan Goldhamer; Dr Alec Burton; Dr Keki Sidhwa; Dr Ralph Cinque etc.....

Dr. Goldberg listed as one of the health practitioners of natural hygiene might be the guy you might see or consult with by phone as some of the doctors will do phone consults. He suffered from some inflammatory disorders like chrohns or Rheumatoid Arthritis and is cured. He is listed in the iahp.

Because your brother has both Chrohns and BE you have to cross reference the two diets so as not to aggravate the condition. It may require a period of long elimination to allow him to heal and ultimately allow the re- entering of foods slowly to gauge his reaction.

I can tell you from my own digestive experience, do not include tea coffee soda, anything with caffeine, eliminate most tomato base products or acidic products, and even dairy and juices can be a problem.

A whole foods diet would be best for him. More alkaline than acidic. Canned food is acidic and devitalized. He wants juice , give him an orange or a grapefruit, it is healthier for him anyway. It may require more work in the beginning, but once the family has become accustomed it will be easier and even better for him. Likely the whole family must engage in the same health habits when around him so he does not feel left out and he perhaps can be made to understand it is better for his health.

Sorry no list to provide you. If you know what he cannot have for both conditions, then by assumption , those foods not listed would be okay perhaps. But his health conditions need to be healed for him to even tolerate foods. Best bet is to have a phone consult with someone like Drfuhrman.com or Dr. goldberg or even Dr. Alex Goldhammer at TrueNorth in Ca, or Drbass.com. I believe all the above do phone consults. I have no association with them in anyway.

Good luck to you. I wish your brother good health and happier days. G-d bless.
