I e-mailed Mountain Rose Herbs about how to use oregano essential oil since their web site carries a warning about putting it directly on the skin or ingesting it undiluted. Their web site also says not to let it come in contact with the mucous membranes undiluted.
This was their response to my e-mail:

"Oregano Essential Oil should never be used directly, it is extremely potent, it should always be diluted in other oils. One or two drops in a few cups of a carrier oil would be a good idea, following a recipe would be a good way to start. You can always put it in a diffuser to fill the room with the scent."

I am not crazy about the scent so, taking their guidelines into consideration, can anyone recommend possible uses of oregano essential oil?
