Great Rant Molly~! I could not agree with you more
either. When I hit the proverbial "wall" with a
major health crisis, my naturopath told me it would
take 7 years to come "clean" and heal. I thought
this would be a long arduous journey and yet, as
I began to heal and feel better, the further I
wanted to go and I tossed that inner timetable
that has you hyper-vigilant for every iota of
success to register in your mind 100% of the time.
I also realized there is not "grand arrival". It
is a process of life and good body maintenance.

I oil-pull because I love myself. I oil-pull
because it makes me feel better than when I do not
oil pull. It is now a habit and one I think, oh
sheet, I forgot to oil-pull when I forget and
it is not very often.

How much do I like it?? I like it enough to suggest
to a 3rd year University dental student that I feel
it is worth a REAL STUDY in a prestigious dental
school and that if the goal of dentistry is to heal
people and set them on the path to retaining their
teeth and gums from cradle to the grave, that oil-
pulling is something worth legitimizing. He had never
heard of it but was going to check it out online and
I look forward to seeing him again and asking what
are his thoughts on it....
