I agree that our bodies should get more alkaline foods. I also agree about the sea salt, however NOT store bought sea salt. I've been getting my sea salt online from France but shipped from BC Canada, and it contains over 80 mineral elements. It's the purest, most highest quality of sea salt you can get. The store bought kinds lack major minerals and are mostly dead anyways. I used to drink a glass of water with a pinch of the France stuff every morning for nearly a month but I was doing it for panic attacks, not for acne, so I can't remember if it cleared me up or not. It took my panic attacks away though and I lost like 5 pounds..even though I didn't need to. The stuff is amazing and here's the link where I get mine: http://www.eco-natural.com/greysalt/products.html I must say though, just use a PINCH of the salt in 8 oz of water once per day (first thing in the morning) because over-doing it will cause stomach aches from too many minerals trying to absorb. Oh and by the way, I get the Fine Grey Sea Salt.

I've been researching for weeks now on alkaline foods vs. acidic foods and found some good charts to go by. I think I am very acidic because a skin specialist I talk to told me that flaky skin may mean you're way over acidic. And I have that! Plus, most foods today are acid forming so most people with acne are probably acidic.

Good post by the way!
