Thanks for the discussion. We'll probably always disagree to a small extent here, but I'll digress in stating that I don't think calcium is bad (or any mineral for that matter), its merely the form that it exists in and the correct balance of these forms that is important to human and probably most animal physiology.

You seem to have the pov (in context of this discussion) that acidic condition and/or possibly glandular malfunction could be the cause of disease. I believe the body can turn the accumulation of an alkaline mineral (ironic as that may sound) into an acidic state if deemed excess or unwanted by the body. Couple that with elimination pathways at sub par and you have things like arterial plaque, arthritis, cancer (both of which there's an abnormal ammount of calcium present).

I believe you are correct in that there are imbalances at play, acidity from wrong diet, inadequate flora, glandular malfunction, but I tend to believe these are most likely contributing factors masking a fundamental cause (that being incorrect form and poor drainage).

Most of the older folks I know that believe what I believe do not have these maladies, so again, I must trust my own observations.
