Thank you all so so much for the advice, all of it was really helpful. I have been doing some of my own research as well and a lot of it matches what many of you have suggested (ie. milk thistle,essiac, and ginger).

I saw that many people on this forum have recommeded the book "Beating Cancer with Nutrician" (forget author's name and book is at my mom's)which I picked up and it mentioned that shark or bovine cartilage is helpful in trying to beat cancer. Do any of you know anything about that?

Again I am truely thankful for all of your comments.
