Hi Spidey,

I'm sorry you haven't seen results and feel that you're actually getting worse. I'm going to ask my son to come sit with me to respond to your post. He would have a better insight to this. I don't know at what time tonight he'll be able to come, but we'll try to do it tonight.

The only thing I can tell you right now is that the NIH recommends that you take the chlorophyll three times a day AFTER each meals for 3 weeks. It doesn't specify whether to take the charcoal before, after, or with meals, but it does say that the charcoal is to be taken twice daily for 10 days. So, perhaps it's too soon to see results.

I can honestly say that until you do a strong intestinal cleansing, you're probably not going to see results. In fact, I do know that my son took some Antibiotics at first for a few days right after the intestinal cleansing. This is with the intent of removing alot of the bacteria that eat away at the undigested food releasing more TMA. Once you feel that a complete cleansing was accomplished, then you take one capsule daily for about a week of Lactobacillus (acidophylus) that you can buy at the health food store. MAKE SURE IT IS REFRIGERATED at the store, and store it in your refrigerator right away, so that the "friendly bacteria" hasn't died.

I know that my son didn't not get significant results until he removed this overload of bacteria from his gut.

By the way, how is your diet coming along?

If this treatment doesn't work for you after you've done it thoroughly for about 2 to 3 weeks, then there is a possibility that you might not have TMAU. If you have any doubt at that time, then you would really need to be tested.
