Sorry to hear about your mom. Sometimes all that we can do is to provide support, love, and care.
First, liver support using Milk Thistle. Any good doctor would agree to this and should have already suggested it. Taking Co-Q10 in the Ubiquinol form (50 mg 2x daily minimum)is highly recommended as this is important for liver support. Tumeric is also used sometimes. BTW, Curcumin is one of the better anti-cancer herbs. Oregon Grape root is good for liver support and is anti-nausea in some cases.
Second, to help keep food down, try juicing fresh raw (preferably organic) vegetables. Small amounts are taken and are easy to digest. Tomatos and broccoli are the most effective in reducing cancer and this is highly noted in scientific literature. Carrots are beneficial but should be limited due to Sugar content (any Sugar feeds cancer). Strong vegetable such as brassicas, onions, garlic, and peppers are important as they are the most effective. Do not take the store bought stuff that helps weight gain as it has lost of sugars. Also starches are converted to sugars. Cinnamon is very helpful in regulating the Sugar levels in the blood and so is beneficial in fighting cancer.
Essiac tea can be helpful, has been in use for many decades with good results, and is noted to help cancer sufferers get through chemo and radiation.
Feverfew is helpful for nausea and is a longtime favorite. Also, check out meadowsweet, peppermint leaves, and spilanthes for nausea.
Please note that mixing herbs can cause adverse reacions and care should be used.
There is a lot of information on the internet and I would start with
