Hi Spidey,

He just told me that when he did the short-term initial treatment as recommended by the NIH, he took half of the dose of each supplement in the morning with his breakfast, and the other half in the evening with dinner. This is because he could keep track of it more easily, and then he could focus most of his attention to getting a job. He does take it with food, except for the acidophilus, which he takes on an empty stomach only after the intestinal cleansing, which he does only with mild laxatives and/or rubbing castor oil on his lower abdomen over the colon area.

After his initial short-term treatment was over, and his odor was gone, he formulated his long-term treatment based on trial and error. Anytime he doesn’t stick to it, the odor comes back slowly but surely. For example, he forgot to take the supplements this morning as he rushed to work after eating his hearty breakfast, and delayed taking his evening dosage, and now, at 10:09p.m., I detected a moderate bad breath, and asked him how he was doing with his treatment. He immediately realized that he had forgotten to keep up with his treatment, and took his evening dose of supplements. He told me that it was probably time to do a cleansing and he’s going to apply some castor oil. This has happened before, and based on past experiences, it should be completely cleared by tomorrow morning.

I have a feeling that this is the best it’s going to get until the researchers come up with something new, but it really is working so well for him. He’s so happy at work. He says that time flies because what he does at work is so rewarding to him. He works with people all day conducting various one-hour group sessions with the criminally insane at a local prison. The prisoners prefer to sit in his one-hour group discussions than to go to the other recreation options he provides for them. THIS HAS TO MEAN THAT HE IS NOT PUSHING PEOPLE AWAY WITH Body Odor !!! He's also well received by the other medical staff. He’s so happy with this opportunity to do what he loves – to help others who suffer from mental illness, and having controlled his BO is definitely helping him achieve his goals.

How long have you been on your supplements? Are you starting now?
