Hi Zoe!!!!
Wow, I wonder what the groom's Karma has in store for him?
He #$%^ed with a lot of lives.
I think I would have been satisfied with exiting the
relationship a.s.a.p. and getting on with my life.
Guess it is a good story ,though.
It did remind me of a situation where anger and revenge got the best of me.
I worked for a property mgt co way back. I lived free &incognito at one of the properies we managed. I left the company magnet on my car door one day and a disgruntled tenant punctured my tires.
Having access to his file/social,etc, I called the telephone co, the gas co, the electric and water co. and had all of his utilities turned off on a Friday afternoon. Some of the companies instructed me to go ahead and shut off the main myself, I replied, "I'm going to be out of town for a month and these damn kids around here...blah,blah,blah"
So they shut everything off. Ever try to get a utility company out on a week end.
The guy was so pissed you could hear doors slamming and yelling and screaming.
I thought I had really got one over on him. That I had won. "Hee Haa", I gloated,
"no one F---s with me!".
Only to sadly find out the next week that his ailing father 'had' been living with him and was confined/dependant to an iron lung life support machine.**
((((**Well, that part isn't true but it always gets a gasp!)))) :P
Revenge can be sweet, yet I find now that the energy expended is worthless not priceless. I think having the guts and the strength to shrug stuff off and move
on is invaluable, yet I'm human like everybody else and still shoot daggers from my eyes or pen sometimes.
