Wow I didn't think about the paint!! Damn. Oh well, can't stop now cause I'm loving it!

We've had the mattress for about 3 years now. My husband is 6'5" and about 220. There are no impressions at all. I think there are some foams that may break down. We were told when we bought this thing that it would not happen with this mattress. So far so good. The only thing though, when we've been lying on our sides at night, and the impression had been made, getting to him is like scaling a small mountain. Takes a few minutes to lay on the ridge to bring it down.

Funny thing is, even when he's gone for a week, I still sleep on my side. Can't seem to move to the middle. Feels sorta weird. But we have a king size bed, so there is plenty of room

He's been pulling the covers off of me lately. Annoying! And this morning, I woke up with no covers up to my knees. Must have been a wild night pulling everything out like that.

You know, since you've initially posted I've been thinking about this whole issue. Sleep is probably the number one healthy thing that any human can do for themselves. A good nights sleep. My husband has suffered from extreme insomnia for years, and I don't know if this is caused by his Depression or visa versa. I know that after a week of bad sleep he can't make decisions, and gets really conflicted about everything. I've seen him in the store trying to pick out a salad dressing. You'd think it was the most crucial decision he's ever had to make. Poor guy. To be so out of it you can't pick out salad dressing.

I think you should totally do whatever you can to give yourself rest. But make sure you do come together regularly and have intimacy. If you just retreat without that connection ever, then you are doomed. I have a friend whose husband is on one of those air things for sleep apnea. They've been married for 35 years. He's been on this thing for about 4 years now and started sleeping in another room. Their marriage is virtually over. All those years, 3 children, good friends of each other. I watched it all go downhill after he left her bed. It was just one of these stories of many I have heard, so I think my warning has some value. You just might need to work extra hard to make up for the separation. It's not an impossible situation, it's a glitch.

Take care.

Molly
