Darlin' we cannot lose a job - maybe the job is losing you.  It is just rearrangement of energy.

I will pray.  My God can do anything.  He is God Almighty.  I lay my situations down at the foot of the cross and I don't go back every little bit to pick them up and check on the status.  When I have a doubt creeping in, I sing Jesus Loves Me.  Usually a verse or two puts me in a whole different state of mind. 

Once I got fired - it was a horrible situation for me, who at that time could not  take criticism.  I took some time to rest.  I looked at the paper and made a list of places to go.  I was in such unrest that I just could not go out of the house for a week.  I told God to tell me in which order I should go to apply for jobs.  I went to one, took a test, got hired on the spot at twice the salary of the job I had lost, and lots and lots of overtime.  I said to myself that if I knew God could have handled it so easily, that I could have saved myself the week of bad feelings.

God will take care of you.  Your job is to trust Him and to keep your eyes open for your next move.  Trust and Obey.  Prayer works and God is really, really Good.
