Chris, does sunbathing count if you use commercial sunscreens, i burn easily, and with the ozone problem, it could be a bit risky going without.

I plan to try coconut oil this year, but not sure if it will work okay, and give enough protection. I know my brother used to use it, but he is olive skinned, and just used to tan, whereas i'm fair skinned.

The trouble is sunscreens don't allow the vit D synthesis, as far as i'm aware.

I suppose the best way would be short bursts of sunbathing, using no sunscreen.
