He was actually born with bad breath, but his very strong odor began at the end of a one-year treatment plan of Acutane, which is very hard on the liver, and may cause some degree of liver damage. Acutane is a ridiculously high Vitamin A complex that is recommended as the very last resort of severe Acne treatment. After 2 years of surgically removing cysts from his face on a weekly basis (a very painful experience) and YES, TAKING Antibiotics ON AN OFF DURING THE 2 YEARS, the extreme odor kicked in. I'm sure his liver was affected by all this.

He really is somewhat repulsed by sweets, unlike the rest of the family, and the only sweet food he eats regularly is ice cream with chocolate syrup. He has always had a terrible diet because he's very allergic to almost everything, including what would be very nourishing for him - vegetables.

He is working with the TMAU diet which seems to control the problem. If his urine test for TMAU comes back negative, then I'll suggest to him to do the Candida diet you did, and hopefully that'll work for him as well. We’ll be asking you many questions if that’s the case if you don’t mind.
