Hi Ya'll,
Norwegian kelp is generally considered to be: Rockweed (Ascophyllum nodosum) commonly known as Norwegian Kelp.
Ascophyllum nodosum grows in different areas of the ocean around the world !
It is just one of many Different varieties of Kelp !
The Ascophyllum nodosum has a higher ratio of Sodium to the amount of Potassium than the Laminaria digitata kelp has !
But the Laminaria digitata has more Iodine than the Ascophyllum nodosum has !
So one may work better for some folks than other folks?
Both of the above are considered of the Brown kelp family !
And there are many other kinds of Kelp, which contain different ratios of minerals etc than these two !
And one of these varieties may work better in the summer time and the other may work better in the winter colder months of the year for some folks?
This is "WHY" folks need to learn to listen to what their own bodys are trying to tell each person !
Because what may be Healing for one person may be a Poison to another person !
As each person has different Genetics, which may Cause Different needs for each person at Different times of the year?
And Learning to eat foods in Season of the best Quality may Naturally provide for the best Balance of these needed Alkaline Minerlas to Acids !
For this is How our Creator designed it to be !
Smile Tis your choice.
