Ok so lets say someone is acid, and they start the alkaline drink, then they become alkaline and the body starts releasing acids-how does one know that they are releasing acids if the pH stays acid because of the released acids?

I suppose there is a time when the body will show alkaline pH then more acidic pH as acids are released? So then when these acids are released one would realize that they have to keep increasing alkaline minerals/drinks to stay alkaline and thus continue releasing stored acids, right? Are most people finding this to be true-that they are having to increase the alkaline drink/minerals to STAY alkaline as the body continues to release acids.

Im trying to figure out whats going on with my own personal pH. The more alkaline I take in the more acid my urine pH(5.0-5.5) and the less alkaline I take in the more alkaline my urine pH (6.5-7.0). I have health issues and insomnia, I would like to continue to release acids (if this is actually what is happening?) but this causes me insomnia and leg aches (not sure this is just a sign of magnesium deficiency from all the calcium). I'm confused about what I have been told is happening vs. what is really happening.

thanks
