Probably not, but, the health of the brain and nervous system would be a good place to start.
Depression is mostly caused by either not supplying the body and therefore the brain & nervous system with the nutrients it needs in optimal(not RDA)amounts; metabolic anomalies; and psychological factors such as loss.

A good starting point.......and then progress from there.
