ML did not say not to take it...

He said this guy took too much. As we both know, he also could have taken it in such a way that the "blue" color of his skin was the end result.

Look at ML's post as a valuable very lesson in alkaline/acid balancing... ONE mineral or element in excess is not the correct way to look at these issues at all - reference the chicken or the egg/vitamin D or calcium post below.

You cannot have health with just one... you must also have the other. A balance of all alkaline and acidic needs must met and be adhered to.

I make my own CS... but the limewater works as an alkaline disinfectant in much the same way.

Here is a quote from Mercola...

"It is important to have a generally healthy mineral base. The body works better with toxic metals than no metals at all."

In the absence of alkaline minerals such as, calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, etc. etc. the body will find a valuable use for other alkaline metals in abundance like aluminum, lead, arsenic, etc. etc. It wants to live and survive in any way possible.

Absolutely, silver will seem rather special and healing to someone replacing any metal that is more toxic than the silver to the user...

I understand what you are saying about the CS and do not disagree with you, however, the argument is the same with Baking soda, or any other single alkaline mineral including calcium... this single mineral\element thinking is not the path to health.

Can single minerals\elements be used in appropriate circumstances for symptom mediation? Absolutely. However single elements/minerals, including silver, cannot, and will not heal an individuals terrain to prevent the problem from occurring (or recurring) in the first place. A broad spectrum approach that includes eating high quality foods and/or supplementing if necessary, to provide all the necessary minerals/elements to stabilize the terrain is what ultimately works making things like Colloidal Silver, Zappers, etc. etc. obsolete.
