Fungus creates an acid environment so it can survive... if candida is so beneficial and just doing its job, then why does it create 150 that screw up our bodies. Why does it create mycotoxins that react in our brain that create cravings for the foods it wants. Why does it attack our immune systems...
Regardless of what you might think... candida is a parasite, and probably the best and most efficient one going. It is extremely precise and has extremely effective attack/defense mechanisms once in the human body. Yes if a body is acidic... then candida can flourish.
But candida typically comes in when we take anti-biotics. We leave vacancies in our bowels and the candida comes in, then because our immune system is weak (which is obvious because we needed anti-biotics) it starts to colonize the rest of our body. Then it doesnt seem to matter how healthy you eat, or for how long, it doesnt completely go away. This is because candida has many survival mechanisms in place.
You can alkalize your body all you want... if candida can still create pockets of resistance in your body, it will have no effect. Candida will make an acidic environment all around it, using the food you use as energy to do this... no mater how healthy the food is. And when the candida cant fight anymore, it goes dormant waiting until it can come back.
