I was concerned about the arterial plaque because I've had neck spinal injuries. I wasn't sure to what extent the blood vessels also had been hurt (and injury to blood vessels is a precondition to plaque formation).

but, I think it's probably okay, and I use a very low incline...for people without precondition to vessel problems, or injury, I guess it wouldn't be much of a worry.
