but then I guess that the quality of breast milk can only be as nutritious as the Mothers diet, and I would agree that "breast-is-best" if that was to be the case.
The article though omits the beneficial effects of intensive nutrition on the rest of the body, and not just the brain.
I had a very poor start in life, with what was then called "consumption", resulting in poor appetite and an aversion to food, which still has profound and nutritionally- negative, physical & mental effects to this day.
Most people, I think, do not place enough importance on their nutritional status.
