I've found a GP (MD)who has a more holistic approach than most. He believes the progression can be stopped and possibly reversed and has me on several different medications (mostly natural) to help boost my immune system. He's also got me on a strict diet... no yeast, sugar, etc to help clean out my system. I had a blood test earlier this month and the count has gone up. I'm having a bone marrow test on monday week, but I'm also seeing my 'other' doctor on that day. I feel good that I've found a doctor who believes I can do something now instead of just 'wait and see' which is pretty much what the others said.
