Hi,
I am wondering just where the line is drawn between debate and support. Some forums are labeled debate; some are for support.
I find it interesting that people go to a forum who don't entirely agree with the owner of the forum and their protocol. I think it is just great to try to figure out answers when you are a newbie, but I also think these people who go on a forum like I mentioned above and do not agree with the protocol of the owner of the forum should not be doing it. The reason? People are coming on here who really want help. It is a jumbled up mess for the newbie who is really sick and looking for answers. This doesn't mean that two people can't be right. I think they can. It think it is just confusing to sick people, that's all.
Take the confusion of the unlearning one has to do that has been created by the medical estableishment coupled with the confusion in the mind of trying to understand just what one should do for themselves to get themselves well and you have some real confusion. Newbies don't understand a lot of things. They might give up and stay sick just because they get discouraged trying to figure it all out.
Are we not trying to help people to get better? I don't think it is amusing or funny when I see people who truly want help and they feel so confused they don't know what to do next. I see people leaving who we could really help. They come on once or twice and we never see them again.
Isn't it time there was some organization here, or would that be curtailing the freedom of some to just go on and mix up the newbie with what they think is the way to go. I am really concerned. I know I owe a lot to CZ, but the confusion I got in the beginning was rediculously unnecessary. I care about people. I want to see them get well. I want to spread the word.
I also see other people come on here who have the same concerns, voice those concerns, get tromped on, and then go away hurt and disturbed. This is a retardant to the progress of a sick individual. It doesn't seem right.
Is there something wrong with my thinking? If there is, please straighten it out.
Thanks.
