Hello Platicat. While it may be (for now) a bit easier for a person to wade through what they see as gunk in order to get to what they see as the good stuff, CureZone is not really all that different than the big real world at large; a zoo. It may have seemed like that, for a while. Maybe it actually was like that, for a while. Rumor has it that the real, big world also used to be like that, for a while.
Just one aspect of the big sea real world that we all float in is it's increasing propensity for showcasing it's many imperfections; driftwood washing up on the shores. The virtual e-world accurately reflects this as it should. It would be pretty odd for the e-world to not reflect it's source. From my own experience, there was once a time of trying to keep up with the idea of staying in touch with it all, trying to observe it all so as to fathom it all, trying to keep a finger on the pulse of it all. Somewhere in that experience there followed the miserably failing experience of trying to give due diligence for it all, to care about it all, followed by trying to respond to it all, followed by trying to keep all of this sorted.... ....and effectively being driven crazy in the process. There's just too much of it to observe let alone trying to participate or trying to correct or trying to respond / react to, even when there may be potential worth involved. One person can only keep track of so much. One person can only try to correct so many deviations. After a while it sort of comes to mind that none of us were intended to see it all, to figure it all out. It is not for any one person to be capable of fixing all the broken parts, even when this involves trying to fix some of the many broken people parts in obvious need of repair.
Pick your spots. Whatever that may be for you, stick with what is most important to you, and try to allow all of the rest, the noise, the slough, to NOT distract you. Try to allow that to float by with as little notice as necessary. I'm not saying this is easy to do, but you may be surprised how short the learning curve is for this, and you may be surprised how a lot of slough tends to evaporate once you put it out of mind. Floatsam and jetsom has a knack for floating away from where it's not attractive. This sort of requires a person to decide to ignore what is not attractive to them. It just seems to be a characterisitic of the collective zoo that driftwood tends to be driven... attracted towards places where feedback tells of having successfully pestered somebody enough... having attracted enough interest for a person to waste the time necessary to voice observation of the specimen driftwood threatening to wash up on their shore. This seems to be one of the building blocks that enthralls the personalities of crank posters on web forums.
Good luck with that!
