Sorry to hear about what your girlfriend went through and subsequently what you are having to go through. I found an EMDR therapist that I went to for 3 months and she helped me process and release years of childhood abuse. I'm in my mid-30s and happier than I've ever been. Give it a try? Like everything on this planet, everything is not for everyone nor guaranteed.
