I have been vegetarian since birth. I am lucky that I am vegetarian, I do not get sick that often also look much younger than my age. Is your daughter eating Sugar and junk foods from supermarket? If so, I would limit those. If you have to ad Sugar in anything use Stevia, a natural product from South America. Also do not et her eat anything that has corn syrup, it is one of the most harmful product used in our foods. Also anything with white flour is bad for all of us let alone kids. That means no bagels, donuts, pizza etc.
Try fruits for one meal then have a sandwich with greens, tomatoes and cheese (if you eat that). Eat salad for one meal. For snack eat raisins and cashews or almonds. Figs and dates make a nice snack as well. One very nutritive food for vegetarians is moong bean soup. Eat cereals. I personally do not like supermarket cereals. I make almond milk and use that with oatmeal, but I have not eaten cooked foods for 6 weeks now.
If you google 'vegetarian recipes' you will find a lot of websites.
Hope this helps.
