I had my son in to the eye doctor to get contacts yesterday. During his exam I mentioned that I had read that some eyesight problems could be due to a zinc deficiency.

He said, "A VITAMIN DEFICIENCY?? I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF SUCH A THING!"

And I wanted to scream,

"OF COURSE NOT! YOU'RE A DOCTOR!"

(heh.)
