Calm down, OK? :)
Ur failing is not the end of the world. I also failed a lot of times but I am STILL 'on the horse'... Listen to me, dear, I will give u two way of thinking of pple who are not new to a water fast. One day I copied their post to encourage myself. All I can say is I tried Fonty's way of eating fruit salad as my last meal b4 a fast (well actually I ate fruits the whole day) and it got me trough first day very easy. I was even surprised! :)
Here is their posts:

"1) If you're having trouble getting past the first day or so the best advice I can give you is to prepare for your fast with a mostly raw eating day before you do. Maybe have your main meal for lunch but make it mostly salad then have a big fruit salad for dinner, then if you're feeling like that's not enough have a fresh juice afterwards. Eating like this the day before a fast gives me a great first day at the very least.
2) Maybe you could try eating the foods that tempt you so much for a day or two.. and eat them to your heart's content! Enough hopefully to dull the cravings for them before you start your fast. Then on the night before your fast have a big fruit salad, my best starts to fasts have been after a fruit meal the night before. You fully hydrate yourself and the taste of your last meal almost follows you through the first couple of days.
You could also try putting your water in an esky and staying away from the fridge altogether. :) And going for a walk or something when the cravings hit".

"One thing I do (I'm not sure if this will be helpful) is this. Everytime I start to crave or long for food, I try and think of soemthing else to either look forward to or enjoy. (out of mind, out of bullying me) Anything, from picking up my guitar or doing something, anything I can use a challenge to myself to *enjoy*. Anyway that's a bit of my mind tripping.
Also the challenge itself can be rewarding emotionally.
If one can really enjoy the fact that they got through another day fasting (or hour) you can capitalise on this enjoyment and actually, to a degree, look forward to getting through another day because of knowing you'll experience that emotional reward again.
Also, for me, after about five days or so, the world looks like a window screen has been lifted. Everything is so clear. It's wonderful".
Please don't be down. Most of us were there. Don't hate urself - LOVE yourself :)
Please keep in touch. Don't feel like a looser coz YOU ARE NOT. Ok?.. :) Don't be ashamed of ur TEMPORARY failure. The purpose of this forum is NOT just to keep successful stories but to SUPPORT :)
.. May be change of id will help... May be then u will perceive urself in a different way? .. (just a thought).. :/ :)
Here is something in addition for you:
If you THINK you are bitten, you are,
If you THINK you dare not, you don't
If you like to win, but you THINK you can't,
It is almost certain you won't.
If you THINK you will lose, you're lost
For out of the world we find,
Success begins with a person's will -
It's all in the STATE OF MIND.
If you THINK you are outclassed , you are,
You've got to THINK high to rise.
You've got to be SURE OF YOURSELF before
You can ever win a prize.
Life's battles don't always go
To a stronger or faster man
But soon or late the one who wins
Is the one WHO THINKS HE CAN!
.. :)
