I have a Teeter's Hang-ups Inversion table which
I really love. I bought my first one back in 2001
after I had experienced one at a friend's home.

I kept it in my living room which meant that I
did use it every day. Generally, I used it as a
lymph massage and as a way to decompress. I
actually regained height using it. Most often,
news time meant time to lock myself on and to
gently rock myself for 30 minutes. I also especially
like to use it after a hot bath when my body is
relaxed. I have found that I can gently twist my
body while hanging totally upside down and gravity
will pull out any kinks of the day. Having it in
my living room also found guests eager to try it
out too. I keep a pillowcase slid over the top
of mine so can wash it and it keeps the surface
of my inversion table clear of hair gels and such
that I do not wear but found others often do.

I also used my Hang-ups as a slant board and
since during that time also, I was growing
huge amounts of wheatgrass, it was beneficial
to use an implant and then lay on the inversion
table and gently rock while the wheatgrass was
absorbed. The Hangups is nice because it is easy
to adjust and so when friends came, they would
tell me their number if they had used the table
before, and within a minute they were on the table
rocking themselves and chattering to me. I find
it very comforting to feel the sensation of
having my entire body gently rocked. The Hangup
is sensitive and balanced enough that you can
adjust it to rock with the slightest movement.
This allows you to spend a quality amount of
time on the table.

That table ultimately went into storage and has
since been loaned out and is floating out in
the world hopefully helping many others. Where I
live now, they also had a Hangups but when my
friends moved, the husband finally said, I MISS
my inversion table too much and want to take it.
Thats fine, I said, I will find another. That
afternoon, I went to Houston and was puttering
around and had stopped in a mall-ette headed to
another store when I SAW in front of the space
where I had parked, a Hangups sitting on the side
walk. I had parked in front of a sports equipment
resale place and soon found out that this table
had JUST been bought for re-sale. By this time I
was trying hard not to drool and asked when it
would be available for purchase. So, longer,
delightful story shorter, the guy takes me in and
clicks around on his calculator and sells it to
me for $125. It looked like it had been a gift
which had been used little, if at all. One of
the plugs was missing which was not a big deal
although, when I emailed Teeters, they sent me
a replacement and a spare at NO cost whatsoever.
My friend was really surprised I had found another
table so quickly but also took his with him feeling
no guilt as he knows how much I used it and had
expressed regret he wanted it with him.

Mine is used frequently which I do think is one
of the secrets to its effectiveness. You can hardly
beat it for the lymph massage and over time, I feel
it strengthens the musculature and that it has been
of great benefit in furthering my progress after
being in a car wreck. It also helps me sleep better
and is a simple but profound way to reinforce my
intention of working to maintain and make gains in
my sense of body wellness.
