No chocolate oleander so far - lol. I think the key to the home made oleander remedy, besides following the exact instructions for boilin, straining and condensing is to make sure that you do a final filtration through a number of unbleached coffee filters. Those who do so, much like those who take the patented medicine Anvirzel that the remedy is modeled after, report few if any side effects. Those who do not report mild to moderate ones of loose bowels, headache, nausea and mild fever - though none are usually that severe and no one has ever properly made and taken oleander and had a life threatening severe side effect.
Another key is to start with very small amounts (say 1/2 a teaspoon) and work your way gradually up to the maximum dosage of 1 tablespoon three times daily. The best way to avoid the less than pleasant taste is to take half or less of your dosage under your tongue, mix the other half with a healthy juice such as pomegranate, acai, dark grape juice, etc., and when you are ready to swallow the sublingual amount do so with a good sip of the juice and then drink the juice at your leisure. The first sip only has a mild oleander taste that is easily tolerated, and the rest of the juice should taste quite pleasant.
Since this is not my CureZone forum, or the Oleandersoup Yahoo forum, perhaps we should continue the discussion in one of those places - but I would like to know what problems you encountered when you tried it before. Most people have few if any problems and those who have mild side effects usually adjust in a short time.
