Chanca Piedra has a hypoglycemic effect on your system.

It lowers your blood sugar, so if you already have low blood Sugar it will make you very sleepy as your blood Sugar levels will be lowered further with the use of chanca piedra.

There could be another reason why it is making you sleepy that I'm not aware of however I suggest you have a glucose tolerance test to see whats going on there.
