You simply don't understand the red letter New Testament.  Jesus was called a drunkard and a glutton (meat eater).  Even John the Baptist (another Essene) was a meat eater - he lived on grasshoppers (which are kosher) and honey.

You're living in a little tiny, constricted, world of fear and paranoia.  Have a happy journey.
