Sorry I didn't mean to question anyone’s love, that came out all wrong, and yah there are a lot of holes in what I said (commitment requires equal compromise and effort).

What I meant to say is that when the bad times struck, I resented her and the anger really messed me up by magnifying and re-living things that were better kept in the past.

What helped me, was to realize that there was nothing wrong in loving the person she WAS. Those were good years, and that person will always be special to me. If I am going to forget, I would rather forget the bad not the good.


(I still sometimes hope, but that is what makes me a fool and well..., fools fall in love, accountants balance a ledger)
