Hey, MM --

Well,my first question is: how do you behave after that first drink? Can you drink a drink or two with your friends and then hang it up for the night?

Just because it's peer pressure doesn't mean it is alcoholism. The real test is 1) what taking in alcohol does to me (I cannot stop once I have started, etc.) The mental part of says, _______ (friends, no friends, job, no job, house, no house...) I will drink and it will be OK this time.

Hope you are well and will find the real friendship you need and crave in AA. It's totally there!
