I saw something exactly like this come out of me and thought it was worms!
About a year ago I decided to try something called First Cleanse which was supposed to be a really gentle intestinal cleanse. After four days I couldn't keep taking it because my abdominal cramps and bloating were so awful and I couldn't have a movement, itched all night, felt like things were biting me, had body twitches and terrible insomnia. After a few days of Metamucil out came something that looked exactly like what your picture looks like. I took a picture. Only, I believe there were some worms there too... pinworms. I had a hunch about that and that's why I decided to try the cleanse. But, with the tiny worms there were all of these long stringy blobs and I had no idea what they were so I decided they must be bigger worms. But after two weeks of treating for worms (Vermox) the stool test came back negative so it made me question what they were. I kept seeing them. Now I think they were candida strings.
That actually makes a lot of sense. I've since been taking four or five garlic capsules each night and I started taking olive leaf extract but every time I increase the amount I feel so awful, like I'm hungover. I might add the caprylic acid. Since that cleanse, I have had awful back pain and rib pain, had a CT scan and xrays and blood tests and physical therapy and still the back pain persists. I think it's fungal. I also have a fungal/yeast skin infection (folliculitis) that keeps recurring and I use Ketoconazole shampoo on my skin for that. The back pain increased dramatically when I took Antibiotics for 30 days. And I started having trouble breathing and I think these are all candida symptoms.
Oh, I'm on a gluten-free diet. I was seeing the mucus before that and it was very slimy and runny... not at all like your picture. I used to have the greasy stools but now they are normal looking stools since being gluten-free (no wheat, rye, barley). that is supposed to help. This week I'm doing the cabbage soup diet which I think might also help since it's low carb.
I'll look into the clay.
Here's my photo...
