I don't think you are wasting your time trying to help us. Please tell us more about eating the kefir grains. I have tried kefir and the taste makes me want to puke. I would love to get my bacteria all in check, but I relied on probiotics instead of the kefir itself because of the taste. I have never though about eating the grains themselves and can't find any info about this on the net. Please tell me more....
