First, did you get him to order the HerpeSelect IgG for both types? It's a very accurate test. WTF was he doing with a swab? That's not part of herpes testing. Are you getting tested for other STDs?

About the back ache, etc. One of the things that happens when people start to worry about whether they have herpes or not, is that they begin to think that anything going on is herpes related. It probably isn't. It may just be stress from worrying about whether or not you have it.
