I am not an alcoholic or drug addict but both my brothers are and they (and countless friends of mine) have been in the 12 step program. I have never liked the whole concept of admitting you are powerless and that there is a greater power controlling your destiny. I know a lot of people have had great success in the program but if I don't know if it would be for me (although I am not dissing the progam - you got to find whatever program works for you to keep you sober).
