this was a clue for me... when i slept with my mouth closed i didn't get this. When open, i got this. I THINK toxicity in the stomach(due to low stomach acid) kills off the cells at the lining of the lips. Its the same way saliva can kill the cells on your lips but this is full of toxins from your stomach. This only applies if you breath through your mouth. It could be stomach or saliva. Try eating fruit for a day or using digestive Enzymes and see how your lips react. I have already resolved this issue for me.

I thought my white tongue was due to candida but it was a low stomach acid issue and i breath through my mouth as a habit.. so the toxins made my tongue white.
